Polaris all the way!!!!

By Sam(Owner), Jul. 10, 2015

My dad in 2004 bought a Polaris 500 and after seeing what they could do, in 2006 bought my self a Yamaha kodiak 450. The kodiak broke down and the Polaris is still running!! In 2015 we both went to upgrade and got two Polaris 850 twins, we got a super deal and then went to the trail haven't had any ... issues so far with these machines and we both already have 3000km on them!!! Polaris is the way to go! There built like rocks. And comfortable like hell!! Read Full Review

Best machine ever.

Today I took out my new Polaris. I live in northern Nevada, high sierras.

The last Polaris I owned was in 2005. They have come along way. Today they have power steering and a lot more power. I took it on a 29 mile break-in and was amazed on the comfort of ride. The power steering took a little... getting used to and the power band was excellent, when you hit the throttle you best be hanging on. I went up a few small hills and nothing slows it down, it is part mountain goat. Very forgiving on whoop- dee- doo's. You must respect the power steering on this ATV because it will do what it is told. The 4 wheel drive is excellent on it, if you can hold on it will take you there. The seat is very comfortable. The gauges and speedometer are very easy to read. If you like an all around ATV this Polaris Sportsman 850 SP is the vehicle for you. I can't wait to go riding again. Tony of Dayton, NV. Love Love Love

By Thomas(Owner), Apr. 11, 2017

I'm in my mid 50's. I've been riding ATV's since the trx 250 Honda 3 wheelers in the 80's. I've owned at least 20 if not 25 new units in the last 40 years. This 2015 Polaris 850 HO SP is the cats meow! It has power you can't use all of, handling like a corvette and the ride. Ohhhh that ride. Main re... ason I bought it was from the ride at the Polaris dealer. Salesman didn't have to sell me the machine. It sold itself to me on the test ride. When I got back I simply said "I'll take it" and that was that. Oh and one more thing I forgot to mention. It's gorgeous!! Read Full Review

Love our 850's!

By Karin Palan(Owner), Apr. 30, 2016

My husband has a 2013 850 xp. I had an 2002 Sportsman 500, which I loved, however, after riding his with EPS AND his being a 2 stroke on a really rocky trail one day, I decided to sell mine and buy an 850. Due to a few previous brain injuries from horses and boating, I am very sensitive yo vibra... tion and noises. I tried the 550's and 570's, but the single stroke has a "thump" to it that only someone like me would pick up on. Our friends have 550's and 570's and LOVE them! Our daughter has a 700 and loves it! Our Dad an old 600 and loves it!
My husband and Dad went hunting with some men from out of state who brought their atv's with them, our families Polaris just kept on trekking with no issues ever, they had a Honda, a Can Am and a Yamaha, all of them had issues in our Colorado high country. Maybe they just weren't set up for our elevation, but they were walking😉
Some of my girlfriends feel the seat is a little wider for them, but growing up on horses my whole life, it's not wide at all!
